FAQs

The duration of the single-degree programme is 12 months, while the double-degree programme takes 24 months to complete.

At this time, we are not offering the part-time programme. Depending on market demand, we may consider introducing the part-time track but this is unlikely to happen in the near future.

No, we do not. However, most of our courses require working knowledge on calculus and statistics. We do provide self-study pre-entry modules to refresh such knowledge.

The MSc in Marketing Anaytics and Insights degree will only be conferred to those in the double-master programme after they have completed all obligatory components for both CEMS MIM and MSc in Marketing Anaytics and Insights degrees.

The CEMS MIM degree will only be granted after the conferment of the MSc in Marketing Analytics and Insights degree.

If you wish to have a choice between the single and double degree programmes, you should submit an application to both, in which case, if you are shortlisted for further review, you will be considered for both the single degree programme and the double degree programme that you have applied to. There are several possible outcomes after the interview and consideration:
• The interview panel finds you suitable for both the single or double degree programme, you will be offered to choose which programme you wish to be admitted to.
• The interview panel finds you unsuitable for the double degree programme, but a viable candidate for the single degree programme, you will be offered a place in the single degree programme.
• The interview panel finds you unsuitable for our programmes, you will not be offered a place.

Applicants are expected to hold a good undergraduate degree. Specific requirements may vary by programme, so please check the individual programme website for details. Admissions are assessed holistically: while academic performance is important, there is no strict GPA or degree cut-off, as grading systems differ across universities. Applicants with lower GPAs are encouraged to strengthen their application with a competitive GRE or GMAT score. If your undergraduate studies were not conducted in English, you will also need to submit IELTS or TOEFL results.

We accept only IELTS (Academic) or TOEFL iBT test scores as proof of English language proficiency.

If your degree was taught entirely in English, you may request a waiver with official proof (e.g. medium of instruction letter or if English is indicated in your official university document as the medium of instruction throughout your studies).

The GMAT/GRE is not mandatory; however, a strong score may enhance your application. Generally, a score of 700 out of 800 for the GMAT, or the GMAT equivalent in GRE is expected. However, as it is not mandatory, you are also welcome to submit an application without a GMAT/GRE score.

You may submit the preliminary GMAT scores, i.e. the Verbal and Quantitative scores. These scores are known immediately after a GMAT test.

For GMAT, please visit the official GMAT website. Please designate “National University of Singapore” (GMAT Code: DRT-MK-96, MSc in Marketing Analytics and Insights) as your GMAT score recipient.

For GRE, please visit the official GRE website. Please designate “4642 – NUS Business School MSc Programmes” as your GRE score recipient.
